Duties and Responsibilities
• Demonstrate Professionalism & Safety: Exercise the highest degree of professionalism, maturity, accountability, and responsibility in all transportation operations. Ensure the safety and security of passengers, vehicles, and goods throughout the entire area of responsibility. • Maintain Vehicle & Logs: Keep the assigned vehicle in a clean, well-maintained, and good running condition. Accurately document all vehicle usage and complete the official Vehicle Log at the end of each trip. • Practice Defensive Driving: Employ defensive driving techniques and security awareness at all times. Adhere to all traffic rules and regulations to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner, providing courteous, professional, and client-oriented service. • Manage Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain all vehicle inspection records, monitor maintenance schedules, and promptly inform the Transport Supervisor of any required actions. • Report Incidents: Immediately report all accidents, incidents, and any vehicle or passenger-related issues to the Transport and Security sections. • Support VIP Delegations: Provide transport support to VIP delegations, upholding a positive image of the organization. Responsibilities include punctuality, maintaining strict confidentiality, and providing appropriate guidance to delegates. • Provide Airport Assistance: Support VIP delegations in both normal and VIP lounges during airport transit. Assist the Protocol Office with official travel arrivals and departures. • Facilitate Airport Formalities: In the absence of a Protocol Officer, meet UN officials at the airport and facilitate immigration, customs, and air clearance formalities. • Handle Deliveries: Safely and promptly deliver official parcels and documents to designated locations.
Qualifications/special skills
