About the Country/Multi-Country Office
Based in Honduras, the Central America Multi-Country Office (CEMCO) manages UNOPS operations in Honduras and El Salvador. Since 2014, UNOPS has been a key development partner to the Government of Honduras and international stakeholders, supporting priority sectors such as health, infrastructure, water and sanitation, and institutional strengthening. A flagship initiative includes the partnership with the Honduran Social Security Institute (IHSS), through which UNOPS has facilitated the procurement of over 671 million medicines, benefiting more than 1.9 million people. Beyond pharmaceuticals, UNOPS has contributed to health system improvements through the acquisition of medical equipment and the development of health infrastructure. It has also implemented water and sanitation projects in underserved communities and delivered specialized technical assistance, digital infrastructure enhancements, and IT solutions. UNOPS places strong emphasis on sustainability and the integration of gender, diversity, and inclusion across its projects and procurement processes, promoting equality and advancing human rights.

Importante:
Esta vacante aunque es homebased por consultoría (retainer), puede requerir visitas a la oficina, misiones o algunos requerimientos solicitados por la Oficial Sénior de Alianzas o equipo, para atender presencialmente.
La vacante está abierta para candidatos/as locales o con permiso de residencia, que residan en Honduras, exclusivamente.

El propósito del rol define a un perfil versátil, enfocado principalmente en la comunicación visual y la coherencia institucional. Al tratarse de una organización internacional como UNOPS, la precisión y el respeto por los estándares globales son fundamentales.
El reto principal es aplicar el manual de marca internacional a un contexto local.
Consistencia Institucional: Asegurar que cada brochure, reporte de sostenibilidad o valla publicitaria en un proyecto en Honduras cumpla estrictamente con los colores, tipografías y logos de UNOPS.
Adaptabilidad: Capacidad para diseñar piezas que funcionen tanto en una oficina corporativa como en un entorno rural o de obra, manteniendo la profesionalidad

Requerido:
Título a nivel de escuela secundaria es requerido.
Deseable:
Título universitario (licenciatura), de preferencia en carreras de diseño gráfico, comunicación, comunicación audiovisual o carreras afines es deseable y podrá reemplazar años de experiencia requeridos.
Un diploma técnico es deseable y podrá reemplazar años de experiencia requeridos (diploma técnico + 2 años de experiencia).

Requerido:
Se requiere contar con un mínimo de (4) años de experiencia relevante (o menos, depende de los títulos académicos aportados) en al menos una de las siguientes áreas de diseño y comunicación audiovisual y/u organizacional.
Experiencia en producción audiovisual para comunicación externa, interna y redes sociales.
Manejo de programas de Adobe Premiere o similares.
Deseable:
Experiencia en diseño gráfico
Producción de videos animados en 2D.
Se requiere la presentación de portafolios de trabajo y/o ejemplos de trabajos realizados.
