Assignment context
Technology has become one of the most powerful tools in preventing and combating corruption, and AI, in particular, offers transformative potential. However, AI is not a standalone solution—it remains a tool whose effectiveness depends entirely on human oversight, ethical implementation, and data integrity. Without proper governance, AI can be manipulated, reinforce systemic biases, or even be used to conceal corruption rather than expose it. Despite its importance, the comprehensive global analysis on how the government is using AI for anti-corruption is lacking. UNDP has drafted a global report on AI and anti-corruption, and looking for an editor who can ensure that the text is in line with UNDP editing manual for final publication.
Task description
1) Edit the draft version of AI and Anti-Corruption Compendium (140 pages in total in English) and ensure its alignment with UNDP Editing Manual
2) Compare graphic designed version and final draft in word documents and ensure all the texts are reflected in the designed version so that it is ready for publication.
Skills and experience
1) Fluency in English
2) 5 years of experience in editing and proofreading
3) Experience on editing UN document is a strong asset
4) Knowledge on anti-corruption, digital and governance is a strong asset
