Fundraising for ASCOA`s upcoming Conference on marine debris

Remote · Cameroon·Posted today

Full job description

Host entity: Association for Community Awareness (ASCOA)

Application deadline: 23/09/2026

Mission and objectives

Since 3rd November, 2011, ASCOA has been dedicated to improving the awareness of the local community on HIV/AIDS and its related stigma, promoting peace building in the society, fostering environmental protection and the fight against climate change, supporting children, and empowering women and girls in order to improve their socio-economic participation and boost their wellbeing. We envision a world free of HIV/AIDS, where people are neither stigmatized nor discriminated upon due to their HIV status; a world where women are empowered and children are protected; a world where peace reigns and people live in an environment free of pollution and global warming.

Assignment context

The Africa Marine Litter and Plastic Pollution Conference (AMLPPC01) serves as a critical intervention to address the misalignment among escalating coastal pollution, persistent data gaps, and the operationalization of the Abidjan Convention. It will provide an opportunity for people to learn about the importance of environmental conservation and take action to make a positive difference.

Task description

We are looking for 15 online volunteers to help with online fundraising and drafting grant proposals for our upcoming 2027 Conference on marine debris and plastic pollution. The organization's premium NGO account will be shared with the volunteers.
Online won't be allowed to contact any third party on our behalf.
