Our mission is to promote the social, economic, intellectual and informational development of cities and districts of Tajikistan, particularly through the empowerment of youth and women.
Contribution to Objectives & Background:
This assignment directly supports Rousto Charity’s core mission to promote the social, economic, intellectual, and informational development of cities and districts in Tajikistan, specifically by empowering youth and women. To fund and scale our local community projects, we are participating in the GivingTuesday 2026 crowdfunding campaign on GlobalGiving (December 1–2, 2026).
The volunteer’s contribution will bridge our digital communication gap, allowing us to build an international online presence, tap into GlobalGiving's $500,000 incentive pool, and secure sustainable resources for our grassroots initiatives.
What the Volunteer Is Expected to Know:
• Target Audience: International donors and global networks unfamiliar with Tajikistan but passionate about women and youth empowerment.
• Our Environment: We operate at a grassroots level directly within local communities in Tajikistan. Digital materials, project photos, and impact data will be provided to the volunteer by our core team.
• Campaign Focus: The primary goal is driving unique donor contributions (up to $2,500 per donor) during the 36-hour event to trigger matching funds on GlobalGiving.
Rousto Charity seeks an Online Volunteer to design and execute a social media fundraising campaign for GivingTuesday 2026 (December 1–2, 2026) on GlobalGiving.
The volunteer will be expected to perform the following tasks:
• Campaign Strategy: Adapt GlobalGiving crowdfunding templates and kits into a 36-hour multi-channel posting timeline.
• Content Creation: Create engaging text, graphics, and short video concepts for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube targeting international unique donors.
• Live Mobilization: Help the Rousto Charity Team schedule and post real-time updates and monitoring milestones during the live 36-hour campaign window to maximize matching funds.
Logistics & Teamwork:
• Communication: Work will be fully remote. Daily communication will occur via email and Telegram/WhatsApp for quick coordination.
• Meetings: One 30-minute virtual onboarding call (Zoom/Google Meet) at the start, followed by weekly 15-minute status updates.
Availability: Flexible hours for planning, but the volunteer is expected to be highly responsive and available online during the core live campaign dates of December 1–2, 2026.
Required skills and experience
• Social Media Management: Experience managing social media portfolios across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, or YouTube for an organization or business.
• Nonprofit Fundraising: Experience with digital fundraising, online mobilization, or crowdfunding campaigns (prior familiarity with the GlobalGiving platform or GivingTuesday initiatives is highly advantageous).
• Content Creation & Graphic Design: Proficiency with digital design tools (such as Canva or Adobe Express) to easily adapt GlobalGiving kits and templates into eye-catching graphics and short-form video assets.
• Strategic Copywriting: Strong writing skills with the ability to convey impact narratives quickly and craft clear, compelling calls-to-action that motivate international audiences to donate.
• Time Management & Real-Time Coordination: Excellent organizational skills and the capacity to maintain responsiveness during the live, time-sensitive 36-hour campaign window.
