The 2024-2028 Country Programme Document (CPD) envisions supporting the Government in the design and delivery of equitable and sustainable policies and programmes that reach the most vulnerable children and adolescents, enabling them to realize their rights, well-being, and full potential in an inclusive and protective society. To advance these goals, UNICEF Brazil engages strategically with the private sector and civil society to mobilize resources, foster responsible business practices, and strengthen investments that deliver results for children. 

As fundraising, corporate partnerships, advocacy, and innovation continue to expand, maintaining a specialized and high-performing team is essential to meet growing operational demands, strengthen partner and donor trust, and maximize revenue contributions to the Country Programme. 

Within this context, the Marketing Associate will support the development and production of fundraising content and creative assets, translating UNICEF Brazil’s programmatic priorities into compelling value propositions for the private sector and positioning UNICEF as a partner of choice for philanthropic engagement and investment in children. 

How can you make a difference? 

Under the supervision of the Marketing Officer, the Marketing Associate (Creative Producer) will work with individual and high-value donor teams to drive the achievement of fundraising goals through content production, activations, and fundraising events. This position will support the implementation of fundraising online and offline campaigns to generate revenues and branding. 

Key functions/accountabilities include:  
1. Provide technical supervision of the UNV Youth - Partnership Report Creative Producer position, supervising the graphic design of donor reports and approving the final version in coordination with the Marketing Services Officer.
2. Serve as the focal point within the Marketing Services team for the implementation of the new regional creative digital strategy (content framework).
3. Collaborate closely with the Broadcasting Officer and the Fundraising Campaign Developer to develop and enhance the DRTV creative strategy.
4. Produce graphic design and multimedia content for fundraising campaigns, including infographics, carousels, posters, banners, cards, animated stories, call-to-action videos, and b-roll content.
5. Adapt global communication and fundraising campaign materials for the local market using editable design files and professional creative software, including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
6. Ensure all creative outputs comply with UNICEF branding standards, visual identity guidelines, and quality requirements.
7. Liaise with internal teams and stakeholders to gather information, materials, and inputs required for the development of creative products and campaigns.
8. Provide graphic recommendations to enhance the effectiveness and performance of fundraising initiatives. 
9. Manage competing priorities, tight deadlines, last-minute creative requests, and multiple review cycles while maintaining quality standards. 
10. Support the development of creative briefs and terms of reference for agencies, freelancers, photographers, and other external service providers, as required. 
11. Participate in meetings, workshops, webinars, and other forums related to fundraising content development and creative production, as required.
12. Maintain an organized repository of campaign assets and ensure all materials are properly archived, backed up, and uploaded to SharePoint in a timely manner

To qualify as a champion for every child you will have… 

Minimum requirements: 

  • Education: Completion of secondary education is required. A completed bachelor’s degree from a recognized academic institution in a field relevant to the position may replace three years of related work experience. A completed master’s degree may replace an additional two year
  • Work Experience: A minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience in Communications is required.
  • Skills: Demonstrated experience in graphic design is required. 
    Knowledge in content creation and producing creative briefs is essential for the position.

    Confident user of creative software tools and AI-powered platforms is required
  • Language Requirements: Fluency in both Portuguese and English is required

Desirables: 

  • Language: Basic level in Spanish will be a strong asset. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French or Russian) is an advantage.
  • University courses in social communications, marketing, advertising or another relevant field are highly desirable.  
  • Desirable skills in multimedia content creation for fundraising campaigns are an asset.   
  • Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, DRTV experience is desirable.  
  • Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings, and humanitarian contexts.
