This assignment directly supports Rousto Charity's mission to foster the social, economic, intellectual, and informational development of communities across Tajikistan. By focusing heavily on the empowerment of youth and women, our online club serves as a vital platform for skill-building, mentorship, and educational advancement.
As an Online Volunteer, your creative contributions will bridge the gap between our internal educational activities and the wider public. By transforming our raw class recordings into professional, engaging, and dynamic social media content, you will help us amplify our outreach, build digital awareness, and directly inspire more youth and women to join our growing online learning community.

Task description

We are looking for a creative Online Volunteer to help us transform raw video recordings from our online classes into engaging, high-quality promotional videos. The goal of these videos is to showcase our club's activities and encourage more youth and women to join our online community.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Video Editing: Edit long-form recorded online classes (typically [Insert average duration, e.g., 1-2 hours]) into short, engaging highlight reels, promotional clips (30-60 seconds) for social media (Instagram, TikTok), and structured summaries (5-10 minutes) for YouTube.
• Content Enhancement: Add dynamic subtitles, text overlays, basic transitions, background music, and introduction/outro graphics to make the videos highly engaging.
• Thumbnails & Formatting: Create eye-catching video thumbnails and optimize video formats for different social platforms.

Skills and experience

Education and Experience:
• Experience in video editing, multimedia content creation, or digital storytelling. A portfolio or links to previous video editing projects (e.g., YouTube videos, TikToks, Reels) is highly desirable.
Technical Skills:
• Video Editing Software: Proficiency in standard video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or user-friendly mobile/desktop editors like CapCut and Canva.
• Format Optimization: Knowledge of creating video assets in various aspect ratios (9:16 vertical for Shorts/Reels and 16:9 widescreen for YouTube).
• Audio & Graphics: Basic understanding of sync-sound alignment, audio cleanup, selecting appropriate background tracks, and embedding dynamic on-screen subtitles/captions.
Soft Skills:
• Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and asynchronously via messaging apps or email.
• Time Management: Organized individual capable of managing raw footage and meeting agreed-upon weekly delivery deadlines.
