BACKGROUND The Strengthening Agribusiness Resilience and Competitiveness (STAR) project is implemented by the International Trade Centre (ITC) with funding from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). Running from 2022 to June 2027, the project seeks to increase the resilience to natural disasters and competitiveness of producers and micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in ten districts of Northern and North-Eastern Uganda, focusing on cassava, shea and oilseed value chains. STAR works with enterprises, producer groups, business support organisations (BSOs), government bodies and other market actors to improve competitiveness, climate resilience, market linkages and the wider business ecosystem. In the final implementation phase, ITC will consolidate project results, complete reporting and communication products, document sustainability arrangements and outstanding follow-up actions, and support an orderly closure in consultation with KOICA and implementing partners. PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT The purpose of this consultancy is to provide time-bound technical and coordination support for STAR’s final monitoring and evaluation (M&E), results consolidation, final reporting and communications, Korean market linkage follow-up, partner engagement and project closure through June 2027. The consultant will support the preparation and facilitation of the project closing event and ensure that key results, lessons and outstanding actions are systematically documented and handed over.
