Org. Setting and Reporting
UNRWA is a United Nations agency established by the General Assembly in 1949 and is mandated to provide assistance and protection to a population of some 5.8 million registered Palestine refugees. Its mission is to help Palestine refugees in Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, West Bank and the Gaza Strip to achieve their full potential in human development, pending a just solution to their plight. UNRWA's services encompass education, health care, relief and social services, camp infrastructure and improvement, microfinance, and emergency assistance. UNRWA is the largest UN operation in the Middle East with more than 30,000 staff. UNRWA is funded almost entirely by voluntary contributions. Responsibilities
In accordance with Agency policy and procedures, the incumbent: 1- In accordance with Institute Quality Review Framework and Standards, monitors and evaluates which institute performance including its quality of teaching and learning, institute environment, management of resources and ways of promoting inclusive teaching practices. 2- Collects, records and analyses different types of data on aspects of institutes' performance and providing a comprehensive regular quality assurance reports of institutes with regard to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and making objective judgments. 3- Monitors how institutes address areas of improvement emerging from the institute reviews and, in collaboration with the unit team, an action plan for institute development which address areas of weakness and identify the needed support. 4- Assists the supervisor in the development of the comprehensive Institute Quality Review Framework for the field focusing on the coherence of the institute's system and performance. 5- Supports the supervisor with the dissemination of good practices across the Field and communicates with relevant stakeholders about the work of the unit. 6- Creates well-prepared quality assurance reviews with supporting evidence and supports producing regular reports and updates on institute quality assurance as required. 7- Contributes to the professional development activities and works collegially with peers to improve his/her practice; keeps up to date on knowledge and practice in his/her area of work. 8- Performs other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Education
A University degree from an accredited educational institution in economics, specialization of quality assurance or related field. Desirable Qualifications: • Advanced degree in a related subject particularly in institute quality assurance monitoring and evaluation or equivalent. • In-depth knowledge and understanding of research in quality assurance procedures and practices.

- Contract Type: Daily Paid Assignment for up to three months, with the possibility of further extension, subject to the availability of funds, satisfactory performance, and continuing need. - Grade and Salary: Grade 12 Daily Rate 31.33 &. The salary may be subject to a reduced work schedule.
