This mapping exercise is based on a global questionnaire already developed by UNESCO-IISTEM, which is currently being adapted and translated to reflect the linguistic and institutional realities of the sub-region, which includes Francophone, Anglophone and Lusophone countries.

Data collection in The Gambia will be carried out by a National Consultant, recruited specifically for this purpose, under the technical and methodological coordination of a Regional Consultant engaged by UNESCO to lead the overall mapping exercise across the 15 countries.
