ACDMS is a Country Office (CO)-wide institutional data management initiative intended to establish a centrally governed, secure, scalable and interoperable platform that harmonises programme data
standards and supports consistent data collection, validation, case and referral workflows, reporting, analysis, coordination, oversight and evidence-informed decision-making. The system is designed to reduce fragmentation and duplication, strengthen data quality and accountability, and enable programme-specific modules within a common architecture and governance framework.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead dashboard harmonisation and consolidation across programme portfolios, promoting consistency in the application of approved indicators, definitions, structures and visualisation approaches, in coordination with relevant programme and technical counterparts, and contributing to reliable and standardised information products across programmes.

Coordinate with Programme Managers and focal points to translate operational requirements into practical visualisation products, clarify requirements and recommend appropriate visualisation solutions within the approved analytical and reporting framework, and support the timely delivery of products that respond to programme needs.
    5. Coordinate with the National Information Management and Database Officer – ACDMS to support the alignment of dashboards with approved programme workflows, indicators, definitions and reporting requirements, while identifying and resolving routine data or workflow issues affecting dashboard outputs.
    6. Maintain dashboard integration with ACDMS databases, Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and other approved data sources, contributing to stable data refresh, system integration and overall dashboard performance in coordination with the Database and Developer Associate – ACDMS and other ACDMS colleagues.
    7. Review indicators, calculations, visualisations and dashboard outputs for consistency, accuracy and quality, and support their compliance with agreed quality-assurance standards and publication requirements.
    8. Develop automated visual reporting solutions, executive dashboards and management reporting tools to improve reporting efficiency, accessibility and decision-making, while reducing manual reporting requirements.
    9. Support the alignment of ACDMS dashboards with DTM analytical and visualisation standards, working closely with the Data Analysis and Visualisation Officer to apply agreed methodologies, maintain consistency across products, and refer complex analytical or visualisation issues for technical guidance.
    10. Provide dashboard user support, onboarding, training and guidance materials, and support users in the appropriate interpretation and use of visualisation products, contributing to effective adoption and use across programme teams.
    11. Develop and implement approved dashboard governance arrangements, publication workflows and quality-assurance procedures, including documentation, version control and dashboard inventories, and apply agreed review and publication processes.
    12. Promote innovation in business intelligence, visualisation and data storytelling by identifying and applying practical approaches that improve usability, automation and analytical communication, and share relevant good practices across the ACDMS team.
