The ITU is looking for a “Share Point Associate” with the goal of designing, developing and maintaining a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software platform for the ITU Arab Regional Office.
Under the direct supervision of the ITU Regional Office’s Regional Director, the UN Volunteer will be working within a team that will be responsible to design, develop, and maintain a CRM for the ITU Arab Regional Office preferably using Microsoft SharePoint. The established CRM will aim at showcasing the efforts of the ITU Arab Regional Office in the region, map the projects and events on the ground, and acts as a data hub that allows for synthesization of such data allowing for complex monitoring and evaluation capabilities on achieving regional and global goals. The developed CRM should depend on both share point data bases and external resources, and should enable the ITU ARO staff to:
• Store contact details and interaction history
• Track engagement (emails, meetings, calls, services)
• Manage follow-ups, campaigns, or casework
• Segment and analyze groups of data (e.g. by interest, geography, funding)
• Generate reports and dashboards
Demonstrated interest and/or experience in:
• CRM design/admin/development, and interest in designing architecture; integrations with platforms like Microsoft SharePoint is encouraged.
• CRM system design, configuration, and administration — within development, humanitarian, or nonprofit settings is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to gather requirements, build CRM workflows, manage relational data, and support end users.
• Previous experience as a volunteer and/or experience of another culture, (i.e. studies, volunteer work, internship) would be highly regarded.

The UNV will be based in Cairo which is a family duty station (level A) with a wide range of services (health, education and leisure) and good living conditions. There are a variety of options in regard to type of housing and neighbourhoods in Cairo. The office is located in the Smart Village, next to 6th of October and Sheikh Zayed city, which offers a large international community, several restaurants, cafes, and recreation possibilities. Cairo international airport is well connected to the region, Europe and Africa, and Asia.
