Assignment context
Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG3) covers good health and well-being goals. This overall purpose is to ensure healthy living for the global population, encourage preventative care and promote well-being at all ages. SDG 3 goals address all major health priorities, including mental, reproductive, maternal and child health; communicable, non-communicable and environmental disease; universal health coverage; and access for all to safe, effective, quality and affordable medicines and vaccines. Our efforts through The 34 Gallery Initiative focus on the reduction of the global suicide rate, an increase in awareness of art therapy intervention models, elimination of mental health stigmas, and the continuation of the mental health dialogue beyond May’s Mental Health Awareness Month.
Sustainable Development Goal 2 (SDG 2) seeks to end hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture. For Q4, Simuka Africa remains committed to informing the local and international populace regarding the severity of the El Nino and accompanying natural disasters expected through mid 2027.
